Patrick Swayze Died
This is a new short we’ve made entitled “Patrick Swayze Died”. I had the idea for it way back in September, it’s actually based off of a real conversation I had, but we never got a chance to make it until now. Well, really, nobody wanted to be in it with me. Something about it being tasteless. But Catrina Mitchum said she would be in it, so, about a month after that, we finally made it. ELO directed it and Andrew Clopton, Catrina’s husband was indispensable as the prop master.
I chose not to use all the fancier technology we have, the better camera, the good sound recording equipment, and instead just use the video function on my still camera, partly because it’s so short that it just didn’t really require it, but also because if I’m going to be editing with the good stuff I should be spending that time working on our feature film, Great, On Paper. Anyway, hope you enjoy the short.
