She's a huge hypocrite and not the role model leader that a lot of special needs parents were hoping for. I'm the mom of a child with special needs. I personally can't stomach the word retard. I'm not one who wants to take away your right to use it. I just don't see it as a matter of free speech or being politically correct. I see it through different eyes. I just wonder why any one would use it knowing that the special needs community (yes, they get it) asks you not to. It's more about dignity but it's really up to you.
